For my last two babies I have done memory quilts as a little keepsake for them. I cut out the squares (8" x 6") and hand them out to family members along with my box of fabric paints. Each member does their square and then gives it to me along with the paints and I pass it on to the next person. I start handing out the squares a few months before the baby is born so that I can have it before they come along, but unfortunately we had an illness in the family that prevented the squares from getting done before Olivia came. Anyway, it was completed yesterday and I think it looks fabulous!
I have been working on several projects and just completed two: a travel pillowcase (that I found here) for a birthday party my daughter is attending and an I Spy book.
Here is the pillowcase - we stuffed it will fun items that the little girl can enjoy while traveling:
This is how it came out (We are out of color ink, so she got a pretty plain cover):

The clues for the above page read:
I spy a Strawberry, a Baby Bottle and a Doll Shoe.
I spy a Vase of Flowers,
"VERMONT", and a Window that's Blue.
Can you find 5 toothpicks?
Hope everyone is enjoying the week so far! Thank goodness for Hump day!

I've been looking for ideas for my son for traveling. I am going to make an I Spy book right now! We are going to be driving to FL in about a week and this will be great. Thanks for the idea.
