We finally got some real snow this past weekend! It actually broke records. From 7am on Saturday to 7pm on Sunday my area got 32.9 inches of snow. Here is part of the fam enjoying the powdery white stuff:
These were taken about three quarters of the way through the storm... so yes, we got a lot more snow! Shortly after these were taken my little guy got stuck in the ditch... the snow was almost up to his shoulders because of the dip!

OH how exciting!! Even though we have lived in Alaska for the past 4 1/2 we haven't seen that kind of snow! Who knew we would end up living in an Arctic desert?! There may be about a foot on the ground right now but it will be here until April or May. However we won't be here! Woo hoo Indiana here we come!! (less than 3 weeks before we drive out of here...)
