I have a lot of people emailing me to ask how to limit their blog roll, so I thought I would put the directions into a quick post! The answer - It is SUPER EASY!
Find your blog roll gadget in the Layout tab of Blogger.
(If you don't already have a blog roll and would like to add one click on Add a Gadget - in your sidebar - and select My Blog List). Click Edit in your Blog Roll Gadget. From the Show drop-down menu, select the number of blogs you want to have visible on your blog, All, 5, 10 or 25. For example, if you choose 5, then the first five on your blog roll will be shown and then there will be a Show All link that visitors can click to expand the list.
Click on Save and you are done. Here is how it looks:
