I have a new toy and I love it!
It is a Fiskars Scalloped Paper Punch.
Look what I've done with it:

These are the jar labels for the candy buffet for my daughters Candy Shoppe Party (still a month away, but I'm like that):

And these were going to be the goodie boxes that the candy was put into, but I didn't like the way the lines showed at the edges. I tried removing them but then I couldn't seem to score the boxes properly!
But no worries, I came up with an idea I liked even better, so make sure to stop back by to see what it is!
If you are interested in the template for this chinese box, go here. You can make these out of 12x12 scrapbook paper and they would look really great! I didn't glue or tape the box pictured, otherwise the seams would have been tighter.
I have a ton of other great elements to this party so make sure to check back to see them! Or better yet, sign up to follow and be assured you won't miss (my shameless plug for the day).
MAKE SURE TO STOP BY NEXT MONDAY FOR A GREAT MOTHER'S DAY FREE PRINTABLE! It's going to be a fun way to tell your mom how much you appreciate her.

Love these! I was going to do my own cupcake toppers and was looking for the perfect punch!
ReplyDeleteThese are SUPER cute! I hadn't thought about printing things out to use with my scallop punch - way to get my wheels turning!

ReplyDeleteThe boxes are fun too!
Too cute!
ReplyDeleteI love that style of punch! It doesn't hurt your hand nearly as much. And these turned out so cute!

Hi,
ReplyDeleteI followed you over from the Life As Lori link party. I am now a follower of yours. I would really love it if you stopped by and visited me too. Be sure to enter the drawing if you do. Keep up the good work. Rory http://toolsareforwomentoo.blogspot.com/
I love your candy jar idea. Is the big circles of colors printed on your computer? What is the candy event you are talking about?
ReplyDeleteTerrie
Terrie - The circles are printed from my computer and then I punch them out with my scallop punch. These are all in preparation for my daughters first birthday. ;)

Hi, could you tell me where you bought your Fiskars Scalloped Paper Punch. I've never seen any punches with that handle. Thanks
