Remember the Camping Shower I am planning? Well I found THE cutest little bird houses at Joann's for $1 and knew I had to get one (or several) for the shower decorations. My husband was out and about so it was just me and the kids, so I thought this would be a great project for us.
We brought the bird houses home and had a blast decorating them. The kids used paint. I used scrapbook paper, mod podge and paint. They worked so hard and did such a great job!
We decided our birdhouses needed birds. I was going to freehand some but then decided that someone else probably already had done the work so I searched for sew a bird tutorials and came up with the perfect one! The size was right and they turned out adorable!
I think these will look great among the food at the shower:
