12 HOW TO: Add a Favicon to your Blogger Site

Something I'd really love to learn is how to change the little icon next to my URL. Right now, it is the Blogger B... any idea how to customize this??
 
So I sat down to write-up the tutorial.  I use IE8 so have tabs and had my Blogger dashboard open and guess what popped into my reader?  Tip Junkie's post of the day, which just happened to be: Blogging 101: Favicons!!!
 
What's a Favicon?  It is that little icon that Carolina was asking about.  So no need for me to write up this tutorial, just head on over to Tip Junkie and you too can have a cute little Favicon.  I do have one but it is not showing up in IE... so if you have Firefox, look up there, and you'll see it!
 
I've been receiving a lot of emails from bloggers looking for tips on advertising, and tips for new bloggers in general.  Would it be helpful for me to write up a post with some answers I've been giving out?
 
Keep your questions coming, I love helping other bloggers beautify there blogs!

  5. I love reading your tips- u always make everything easy to understand :) Yesterday I was trying to add an image next to my post titles.... I got as far as making the image but everytime I add in the code, it tells me it's invalid. I tried to google other how-to's but am still not understanding what I am doing wrong. Is this something you could help out with/post as a tip? Thanks!

    Your tips are wonderful. I'm a new(ish) blogger, but I think that all of us - new and seasoned - can always use some tips, tricks, hints, and refreshers! : )

  7. I would love it if you would write a post on helpful tips. Sometimes I feel so silly asking questions... especially if I feel like I should be able to figure them out...but if other people had the same questions maybe I wouldn't feel so dumb!
