7 M.I.A!

January 3, 2011

Hey Guys!  I know I've been kinda M.I.A. the last week.  It's just been a super busy time for me and the family.  No crafting has been going on and I don't really have anything in the works right now {I know, crazy, right?}.  I did get a gift certificate to Joann's in my stocking, so if the inspiration hits I'll have be good to go with supplies!  So bear with me the next few weeks - I promise it will get more interesting around here again soon!

One of my newest sponsors, ...Well Good, has sent me some products from her shop to review, so keep an eye out for that.  I am super excited because her stuff is really cute and will look great on my mantle!

I've also been spending gobs of time researching and getting ready to book our family vacation!  We are going on a cruise to the Western Carribean at the end of February.  I am super excited and know we'll have a blast!  We are also going to spend a few days in Tampa and hit up Busch Gardens and Adventure Island.  But boy has it been a headache trying to get good priced plane tickets!  The cruises are all pretty well priced, but when you go to book a plane ticket and it is going to cost you almost 3K to fly your family of four (with a lap infant), it is REALLY hard to swallow!  But no worries, I persisted and found a GREAT deal and we are going to make this vacation happen!  Have you been on a cruise?  Anything I need to know?

Happy Monday and HAPPY NEW YEAR!

  1. Have some anti-nausea med handy...it doesn't hurt to be prepared! And make sure you pack to dress in layers.
    Lucky dawgs! Enjoy!

  2. We went to the western caribbean a long time ago! It was amazing! We had a blast! I'd say ditto on the meds, I usually get sick, but I didn't on the boat- but much better to be safe than sorry. Plan ahead for the tipping, it can get pricey! Have fun!!

  3. I second the anti nausea meds they have some patches that you can order through walmart pharmacy (I worked there for 3 years just ask at the pharmacy they can look it up for you) so that you don't have to try and pop pills on an already queasy stomach!

  5. I went to western carribean in November 2009. It was wonderful. Want to go back with my family this time. first time was with a friend as a girls retreat of sorts. layers of clothes, anti-queasy meds, very hungry appetite, a nice carryall bag for land excursions. i also kept everything, our daily annoucement paper, to the little paper that the mint came in all for scrapbooking purposes. i am not totally done with all of the pics but then i took a ton! ENJOY

  6. Yay, the cruise will be so much fun! Make sure and bring dressy clothes for one of the dinners, it should say on the website how formal it should be. Let's just say the hubs and I weren't prepared ;)!
