Sorry I was MIA this weekend! We had a birthday party and a Baptism... and on top of that I had the worst migraine of my life, which forced me to hug the toilet for a while and kept me in bed for a night. Needless to say, not much time for crafting.

If you have a little guy, you NEED to make him one of these! This tutorial is SUPER easy to follow and I used fabric from my scrap file, not a lot required. I also used a sheet of felt because that is what I had on hand - I didn't have any issues sewing through it with my machine and the tie held its shape perfectly.
He was the talk of the celebration! His 4 year old cousin came up to him and spiffed up his tie and said "Mason, you look so cute in your little bow!" It was the sweetest moment and I wish I had my camera at the time. He was so proud of his bow tie and I was so happy he got so many comments on it because it just made his day to be like Daddy!

That tie IS adorable. I really need to make two! One for my little guy and one for my soon-to-be baby!
ReplyDeleteI love how the color of his tie pops against the color of his shirt! Great fabric choice.
ReplyDeleteFabulous, He looks so dapper!
ReplyDeleteI would love if you would share this at our Monday Playdate at Beneath the Rowan Tree :)
