I am so excited to share with you another great Creativity For Kids kit!
As you all know I am a Creativity for Kids Creativity Club Blogger and truly love their kits. They sent me their Classic Wood Crafts kit and when it arrived my kids were jumping up and down with anticipation! The pictures on the back were just too enticing for them not to be! My son could not WAIT to make the robot from the back of the packaginng.
Because the weekend was going to be rainy, I made them wait overnight to do the craft, that way I had something fun to entertain them with while we were stuck inside.
Turned out my oldest went to a friends house the next day, so it was just me and my son and we had a blast.
We made a robot, a frog, two skiers, and he came up with a guy fishing!
We had so much fun using our imagination creating the toys, as well as playing with them! He gave his father and grandfather the skiers and it was great to see how proud he was. He gave the fisherman to his other grandfather. All three of them brought them to work and put them on their desks. He kept the robot for himself and has it on display in his room. He did try to play with it, but it really isn't meant to be played with, so the head came off. We re-glued it and it now is a look-at-only piece. But many of the other things your kids create CAN be played with. The robot is just a bit more delicate because of all the small pieces used to build it. He plays with his frog on a regular basis! To see his excitement in creating these pieces was so great as a mom. I love when my kids can be creative and can grow their confidence and motor skills. Your kids will have HOURS of fun with this kit!

This kit looks like so much fun! I just spent way more time than intended perusing the Creativity For Kids website ... how do you pick a favorite?! There are so many exciting things. Today, the thing I lingered over the most was the Wee Enchanted Garden. My daughter would love it - every time we go for a walk in the woods, she looks for potential gnome and fairy homes.
My Granddaughter would have a blast creating with the Shrinky Dinks Deluxe-#1869. Of course, Grandma would have just as much fun since I remember playing with Shrinky Dinks when I was a little girl. And nope, not telling how many years ago that might have been. LOL
