11 My Master Bedroom Reveal!

As you know, I have been remodeling my bedroom (check out my frayed-edge pillow case with tutorial, ruffled lamp shades with tutorial and coffee filter lamp shades).

I am now ready for my full reveal!

I was a really bad blogger and didn't take before pictures of the entire room!  SOOOO, I went back to the pictures we took during the inspection of the home when we purchased it in 2006 and found these images.  The stuff inside the room is the previous owners, but we never changed the room color, so you'll get an idea for the layout of the room...

Obviously the wall color changed.  The new color is Mineral Alloy by Benjamin Moore.  My nightstands got a new coat of white paint.  As did my mirror and sconces that I hung above my new beadboard headboard wall:

I purchased new lamp bases and made coffee filter shades using shades from my other lamp redo.

My MIL gave me two wicker chairs which also got some new paint and I reupholstered the ugly, faded seat cushions:

They, along with my updated Pepere chest and reupholstered ottoman make a great seating area...

I really, really love the desk my hubby built and use it all the time.

My kids {and hubby} gave me that chair for Mothers Day.  Perfect addition to my desk!

We took the mirror off from my bureau and installed a new flat screen tv that we can rotate and watch from bed or the kids and I can curl up in sleeping bags on the floor and watch a movie!

I used Ruffle Fabric to create my gray ruffle lampshades - seen below on the bureau:

My room is definitely my relaxing retreat and totally comfy cozy.
