I need to give a quick shout-out to my new Bloggy Friend, Kasia, of Designs by Kasia. You may remember I shared her Sock Doll Bowling Set a few weeks ago. We started chatting back and forth via email and I mentioned how much my daughter would love one of her dolls. I told her I think she should open an Etsy shop! And she offered to make a special friend just for my daughter! Apparently Kasia is known for her giving ways (and her husband will not deny this!), at first I told her no because I didn't want to bother her, but she insisted and I am so truly happy that she did!
Check out this little cutie that showed up in our mailbox:
I am not lying when I say that Helga has not left my daughters side since she opened the box! She has gone to a birthday party, and BBQ, sat in the sun while we swam, went shopping at Lowe's and a walk around our neighborhood! Oh and has even sat on the pot once or twice.
Olivia LOVES Helga's hair and is constantly playing with it. And she say's Helga with the cutest little lisp.
But Kasia didn't stop with Helga. She also sent along a beautiful handmade necklace in a handmade box for my older daughter, accompanied by a little note. Cassidy LOVED it and was so impressed that these trinkets came ALL THE WAY from Germany!
But wait! Kasia STILL wasn't done! She didn't want my son to be left out so she sent him a light-up balloon. SERIOUSLY? A light-up balloon? We've never seen anything like it and he was so excited. I blew it up (even though it was the middle of the day) and he ran to the cellar to try it out. Of course I was paged 10 seconds later and had to check out this miracle! We tacked it onto his corkboard so he could watch it at night and as I put him to bed tonight it was STILL lit.
Kasia even made a little trinket for me.
My little beauty is on the right. Isn't that cool? It's made out of a recycled bottle! Find out more from Kasia HERE. It really is unique and I love it!
And because I think Kasia deserves lots of followers because she has some amazing stuff going on over at her blog I am going to share her latest project:
Learn how to MAKE your own Hobby Horse! This girl has talent!
Thanks for being you Kasia and here's to a long bloggy friendship!
