Have you ever heard of Operation Smile?  It is a great charity organization that provides surgical services for children and young adults born with cleft lips, cleft palates and other facial deformities.  Many of these children are unable to eat, speak, socialize or smile. In some places these children are shunned and rejected.  And more often than not, their parents are unable to afford the medical expenses necessary to correct their deformity.
