Would you like to spread your addiction, while also helping drive traffic to your blog? Then add a Pin It button to your blog posts! There is no easy plug-in for this yet, so you'll have to do it manually, but hey, if you have a REALLY cool project you want to share, it is worth it!
Open a new tab (or Window) and open the post you would like to add the Pin It button to. Copy the post URL and paste it into the Webpage URL Section:
Locate the image you would like the Pin to include. Right click the image and click View Image Info (in Firefox) or Properties (in IE). Find the IMG SRC or LOCATION and copy the HTML code, paste into the Image URL section.
You can then add in what the Pin's description would be if you would like to, or leave it empty and the Pin-er can do it themselves.
Next, choose how you want your Pin It button to be formatted.
Lastly copy the Pin It html code and paste it into the html of your post. That's it, you're done! You can create as many Pin It buttons per post as you want, even one per image if you want and then paste them in next to each image (a bit overkill, but you totally could... you know, if you have lots of time on your hands!).
I'm hoping that there will be an automatic one soon where we can post it in the footer along with the Google +, FB, etc and it will automatically take the link from that specific post for us...
There must be someone out there who knows! lol...if you come across it ever, please let me know :)
Below are a few of my most visited posts. I hope you enjoy looking around!
I try to host my parties for under $100. I want them to be festive and fun, but not break the bank! Most of my parties include free printables for your use. Please remember, they are for personal use only!
