and that is where I've been. Dealing with life and unexpected events and occurrences that add unneccessary stress to ones life. So no, I haven't been anywhere near my craft table, or sewing machine, or any other tool, but I have been dealing with a lot!
School is only three weeks away, and I need to get on the ball with school shopping and haircuts. My dog is also going in for his ACL surgery this Friday, following which he is not allowed any activity for one week, and then LIGHT activity (meaning out to do his business, maybe a walk down the driveway and back).
Having kids always adds a mystery factor to life because you never know what illness they may come in contact with or what stage they might go through. I am very lucky in that I have a great life, with a great husband, kids and family and I am not complaining by any means!
I may not be crafting in the traditional sense, you guys ARE keeping me super busy designing special, one-of-a-kind blogs, so my creativity does have an outlet. To be honest, my design business is taking up the rest of my spare time. And I enjoy it just as much as my other crafting, so although I don't have many projects to share with you, you can still stop by seven thirty three - - - custom blog design to see my creations!
Although I might not be posting my own projects here for a short while, I sure hope you will still stop by to see what others post in our weekly parties and to find what fun things I find around the web with my Fun Feature Friday post! I will be back just as soon as I have time for crafting!
I totally understand what you are saying! Life is crazy and we all have to take care of it and give the crafting a rest once in a while. I hope everything goes smoothly!
yeah that your design business has taken off!!! I'm so thrilled for you! And don't worry if you aren't posting a ton on this blog. It is supposed to be for fun - not for stress. hope you knee is recovering well and quickly!
Below are a few of my most visited posts. I hope you enjoy looking around!
I try to host my parties for under $100. I want them to be festive and fun, but not break the bank! Most of my parties include free printables for your use. Please remember, they are for personal use only!
