A few things I did differently than the tutorial... I pinned the arm pattern onto my muslin and cut a rectangle out and then sewed around the pattern. I then took the pattern off and cut around the seam with my pinking shears. I did the same for the legs. It makes turning those spindly little limbs right-side out easy as pie!

I also decided I wanted longer legs for little "CC"... so I added a couple of inches, but I don't think I'll do it for the next doll. They are pretty lengthy already. I also added on some pigtails and shoes and called it a day.
{Did I mention that I'm super happy with her demure little face?}Have a great weekend!

I have never heard of them either, but they are adorable! These would make great Christmas gifts, thanks so much for sharing :)
ReplyDeleteI love those cute pigtails...I am completely inspired to make the doll for my soon to be 4 year old...with pig tails of course...so sweet!
ReplyDeleteNot heard of them before but I'm already trying to think of a little girl to make one for for Christmas!
