30 Pom-Pom Monsters - A Klutz Giveaway

November 22, 2011

Hey everyone, just wanted to let you all know I've been down for the count the last 3 days with an ear infection, viral infection and non-stop migraine.  I haven't been able to get out of bed to check emails, etc.  Please bear with me, especially if you are waiting for design items from me.  I do apologize for the inconvenience.

I loved making Pom-Poms as a child.  I first learned how in Brownies, and if you've been a long time seven thirty three follower, you may even remember I shared a tutorial with you on how to make them.  With my instructions, you get a perfect pom-pom, but the Klutz Pom-Pom Monster Salon book allows you to create perfectly coifed mop tops, afros, pigtails, and mohawks to name a few. Add tiny hair bows, punch-out feet, and foam horns and teeth for the final touches.

These super silly, super cute little guys would be so much fun to make with a group of kids!  Such a simple activity, but with endless possibilities it lets our childrens creativity soar!

My favorite part?  EVERYTHING you need is included in the book!  I especially like the pom-pom maker that is so much sturdier than a cereal box.  This isn't just a use one and through away toy.  Your kids can pull this out month after month and make new monster friends - great way to dress up gifts, give to friends, tie on shoes, or create a collection for your shelf!  This is THE perfect gift for a creative (aren't all children creative?) child this Holiday!  Klutz sent me a book to try out, but unfortunately my kids and I never got a chance to do so before this post.  But the next chance we get, you can bet your booty will be laughing and giggling and having a great time!

And the good news?  Klutz is giving away TWO Pom-Pom Monster Salon books to two lucky seven thirty three readers! Giveaway open to US mailing addresses only.  Sample & Prizing courtesy of Klutz
