HOW TO: Add or Force to Show Blogger Sharing Buttons

5 comments:

Do you want the share buttons to show up like you've seen on other peoples blogs?

Have you tried to do it the easy way (via the edit button on your post gadget) and it isn't working?

Then you will want to look at this post.  I was having the same trouble with several of the blogs I've worked on and came across this tutorial and it solved the issue!

By this time we are now in Florida back from our cruise.  We will fly home tomorrow and I will check in on Facebook to let you all know how my trip was!
Hope you all had a great week!

Don't let the name fool you!  This shop does not only carry paper items!  It's right there in the header: Paper Crafs, Jewelry, Photo Gifts, Home Decore and more!   There are so many crafty products you won't know what to do with yourself!

Seriously.  Check out this adorable paisley pillowcase dress:

Or these clipboards:
And I can't leave out this tutu {I just love these colors}:
And this is just the tip of the iceburg!  You HAVE to head over to see what other fun stuff is in the Paper Pixie Crafts online-store!

And of course you'll want to head over to Emily's {shop owner} blog for more crafty goodness and just to stop by and say hi!

I'd like to thank Emily for sponsoring the Knock It Off contest and offering up that adorable Pillowcase dress(way up there at the top) to the Champion and a bottlecap photo necklace to the runner-up!

Meet My Nemeses:

What do you mean you don't see him?!?  He's RIGHT there, front and center!  Look again.

YES.  That's right.  That RUG.  I loved it when I purchased it.  So nice and thick and beautiful.  But then I got him home and he reared his ugly, shaggy head!  The thing sheds like there is no tomorrow.  Seriously, am I stuck with the shedding or is it new rug syndrome?  Although he is a year old now, so he really isn't new in my book.

Oh so delicious S'more Pops

6 comments:

I am currently relaxing on a very large ship in the middle of the Caribbean, so I thought I would share a little yumminess with you... so please, enjoy!

My daughter needed to write up a procedure recipe paper for school {step by step instructions, including an intro and conclussion}, so we decided to make on of our favorite treats: S'more pops!  We are big campers and love to cook up some yummy S'more's during the summer.  We even do fondue every Christmas and put together a S'more fondue smorgesboard (similar to the one I did for my SIL's camping themed baby shower)!  So S'more pops are right up our alley!

Super simple and really yummy!  You will need:

Marshmallows
Bag of Milk Chocolate Chips
Graham crackers or Graham cracker crumbs
Lollipop Sticks

Place a piece of freezer or wax paper onto your table.  Take out your marshmallows and stab the sticks into them.  Set these aside and grab two graham crackers and place them into a sandwich bag.  Use a rolling pin to turn the graham crackers into crumbs.

Grab a box (we use an empty tissue box) and put holes into it - this will allow you to place the dipped marshmallow pop sticks into the wholes so that they can dry.

Pour half your bag of chocolate chips into a microwable bowl and place in the microwave for 30 seconds.  Stir and repeat until the chips are melted.

Put your bowl onto the wax paper and grab a marshmallow pop.  Dip them into the chocolate and twirl until covered.  Dip into the graham cracker crumbs and then place into the box and refridgerate until chilled.

We made 12 pops out of a half bag of chocolate chips.

I then wrapped them in saran wrap and tied with a bow.

And you're ready to enjoy your yummy snack!

HOW TO: BLOG ETIQUETTE

3 comments:

Hey ladies!  I have embarked for a wonderful vacation to the Western Carribean with my family, so this week's blog tip is brought to you by
A Girl and  A Glue Gun.

{you all now I love her, I've told you before and tell you again - she is HILARIOUS!}

Kimbo has just started running her own blog-tips over at A Girl and a Glue Gun and I had to share with you because she did a post on blog etiquette (among other things) and it is PERFECT.  Exactly what I would have said, so please, won't you go learn from the Emily Post Kimbo School of Blogging Etiquette?

Please?

THE KNOCK IT OFF CHAMPION IS...

Chelsea Rose Designs with her gorgeous Wedding Dress replica!

OFFICIAL RESULTS:
This was a really fun race to watch, with the Champion and Runner-Up changing postitions several times over the course of the week. During the last few minutes they were only separated by 3-5 votes! But in the end, you voted and Chelsea won!

KIKI from KIKI CREATES also shared an incredible project with us and should be proud of her second place spot with her amazing Urban Outfitters inspired ruffle duvet cover!
Congratulations to both Chelsea and Kiki, you both are getting some great prizes!

I also wanted to give an honorable mention to our third place contestant, Mandi from Vintage Revivals with Roy the Rhino!  Roy definitely stood out in the contest and has garnered quite the fan base!

My intention had been to keep the votes secret, but the free poll software I was using didn't offer that (unless you had a paid subscription).  If I do this again should I hide the stats?  What are your thoughts?

THANKS TO ALL PARTICIPANTS THAT ENTERED THE CONTEST!  THERE WAS SOME AMAZING TALENT AND YOU ALL DESERVE A HUGE PAT ON THE BACK!

Lastly, I would like to thank all of our fabulous sponsors!  Without them, there would be no prize package, so make sure to stop by and show them the love!

FFF: Cutelicious

No comments:

TODAY is the LAST day to vote for the Knock It Off Champion!
If you haven't voted yet today, head on over and do so now!

Let me introduce you to Cutelicious, a super cute online-store that sells handmade buttons, sewing pins and other small items.  Ursula, the owner of Cutelicious, is located in Germany, but has recently started shipping internationally, so all of us in the States can enjoy her cuteness too!

Check out a few of her items:

Seriously?  HANDMADE!
The shop is named appropriately, don't you think?  The first thing I think when I see these is: CUTELICIOUS!

Ursula also has a blog, Muffins and More, where she shares her crafts and more.  She also hosts a Repurposing Linky Party, so definitely stop by and check her out.

I would like to say a big thank you to Ursula for sponsoring the Knock It Off contest.  The champion will be able to choose three items from her adorable store!
