{Lovely rainy, cold and dreary day. We shot these three pictures and rain back inside because it was just too coooolllldddd! Gotta love April in Vermont!}
I was lucky enough to have Amy of Peekaboo Pattern Shop contact me about doing a review and giveaway for her sweet little pattern shop. After looking at all her great patterns I obviously couldn't say no!
I choose the Evelyn Swing Top/Dress and think it came out super sweet. I was a little intimidated because I've never sewn sleeves before. I'm self taught when it comes to sewing and I'm just delving into the world of clothes, but I think I did OK! I did have to pull out the seam ripper one time to take one of the sleeves off when it wasn't lining up properly, but I made it through and now I feel more confident in the sleeve department.
The pattern printed off and was easy to assemble and the instructions were simple and thorough. The only additional step that I took that wasn't in the instructions was to zigzag stitch over all of the raw edges.
I also cheated and used bias tape I had on hand, although there are instructions on how to make it yourself.
