| Can't wear a monster hat without making a face, right?!? |
I'm pretty excited to share with you this little shop called Crochet by Allie. It is all handmade crochet items and let me tell you, the quality is amazing! Allie sent me the monster hat for my almost 5 year old and I was so excited when I received it. I was able to choose how many eyes, teeth, whether I wanted horns or spikes, whether I wanted ear flaps or not and what colors I wanted it to me. I mean, this little critter was custom made to my specifications... actually I let my son do the choosing, so it was all him! How awesome is that? And that is standard! Whoa! I can't wait for him to wear it this winter... though I can definitely wait for the snow to fly!
The hat is solidly made. The yarn is brightly colored and soft. Per the instructions it can be hand washed with soap in water and laid flat to dry. And make sure you stop by Crochet by Allie to see the girl version of this hat (oh so sweet!).
I also received this sweet little hair bow for my daughter, Olivia. Again, I was able to choose from a multitude of colors, and I also was able to specify if I wanted it to be a French Barrette, Alligator Clip or Alligator Clip with Teeth. All customizations are included in the cost.
There are so many great product options at Crochet By Allie. The site is well designed and easy to use. I had no issue with the checkout system. And Allie is quick! Current orders only take approximately 3-5 days to ship! Considering I have been crocheting a blanket since I was 9 and I'm only 2/3 of the way done, that impresses me!
