0 Knit Dress to Swimsuit Cover Up

I had this blue knit dress I picked up a few years ago that I wore as a swimsuit cover up.  It was super comfy but never fit me right.  My daughter outgrew her cover up last year, so I decided to do a little modification and make her a new one out of my old one.  She wore it this past weekend while we were camping and received NUMEROUS compliments on it!  I think we were both beaming.  She got a kick out of telling people her mom made it. Here is the horrible iPhone before shot:
