6 NEW SHOP: SHERROD STUDIO & A DISCOUNT

I'm a pretty lucky girl.  I meet a lot of creative people through Blogging and Designing.  Kim of Sherrod Studio is one of those people.  I helped her with several of her blog and shop designs.  After a few months go by she contacted me about reviewing one of her bags to help promote her shop and really get it under way.  Of course, after looking over all of her new products, there was NO WAY I was going to say no!  I had a tough time deciding what product I wanted.  It was between this cute little pouch:

In the end I decided I really needed a beach bag for when we go camping.
And holy smokes!  I was blown away when I received it.  Literally (ok, maybe not literally) blown over.  The quality was TOP NOTCH.  To be honest, I can't even tell it is handmade... and shouldn't that be how it is?  The inside zippered pocket is a great size, and that front ruffle isn't JUST to make the bag adorable... it is functional too - it doubles as two pockets.  Yup, form AND function in one bag.  The snap closure is also a great feature.

I managed to stuff 5 bathing suits, 4 large rolled up towels, 2 bottles of sunblock and an iPhone into this puppy!  Not bad in my opinion.  It is hand washable (just follow the instructions on the cute little tag... I might be biased since I helped design it) which is a definite pro in a beach bag.

To be honest, I might even let it do double duty as a carry on or lazy day purse.Oh and another plus: It is customizable with the fabrics available in the Sherrod Studio Fabric Shop!

I put it to use the day I received it in the mail and received lots of compliments on it.  I took it for our camping weekend and was asked where I got it several times.  I think I better get a few of Kim's business cards and carry them around with me so I can hand them out when I'm asked about the bag!
