I am currently prepping for my son's Army Party this afternoon. We have 50+ people (big family, remember?) that will be joining us in celebrating his 5th birthday and I am ready to party! Since today is party day I thought it would be fitting to share with you this really great, community service worthy party that Nancy from A to Zebra Celebrations sent to me.
Celebrate to make a difference!Nancy's Back to School Party with a Purpose: to help kids in need by asking attendees to bring school supplies and backpacks to donate. The recipients of the donated goods are kids whose parents are in prison, or don’t have the financial
support to get their own supplies for school. She thought this would be a really great way to teach her girls that parties aren't always about them or having to receive lots of gifts to be fun and feel good. Such a great way to teach self-sacrifice, giving, love and compassion.
Stop by A to Zebra Celebrations to find out exactly how Nancy pulled this party off and how she made it fun to help those that are less fortunate!
