Sugarsnips shares the trip her and her children took to their local firehouse, a great, FREE field trip. We use to do this once a year with the kids when my brother was a volunteer fireman. Definitely worth the time, especially for little boys.

That is a great dress. Not quite crafty enough to make clothing...yet. Thanks for featuring our fun morning at the firehouse. To "M's" amazement no one at this firehouse knew her Uncle who used to be a volunteer fireman.....thirteen years ago.....in another state :). It really was a fun time. I know that we'll be doing it again when my son gets older. Incidentally he has been wearing his fireman hat all day!
